The Insulated Concrete Forms Industry has experienced phenomenal growth over the past decade. Currently, ICF construction makes up approximately 5% of residential housing starts in the United States, a figure which is expected to grow 25-30% per year for the foreseeable future. Higher energy costs and the growing trend toward "Green" construction and sustainable building systems means our industry will continue to gain momentum as homeowners and building professionals alike realize the enormous advantages of building with Insulated Concrete Forms.

There are approximately 70 manufacturers producing insulated concrete forms today. Most are regional in scope due to the extensive freight rates to ship the lightweight ICF's long distances. (Greenblock currently has 14 Manufacturing/Distribution Sites throughout North America...the most of any ICF company).

In 2005, these mfg.s reported shipments of 53.8 million square feet into a variety of markets.
